Matthew Paxton, Esq.

Matt Paxton is a principal attorney at CSD Attorneys at Law, which represents municipal governments, businesses, and the people who own and manage them.

Matt’s practice focuses on employment and labor matters, municipal advice, and construction disputes.  He advises on all areas of employment law,  including employment investigations, discipline/termination, risk management, and legal compliance (such as ADA, FLSA, and FMLA), and represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in contract negotiations, construction disputes, safety citations, and prevailing wage issues.

Matt started his legal career at the Seattle construction law firm, Ahlers Cressman & Sleight, in October 2013, and he joined CSD Attorneys at Law in July of 2018. He was born and raised in Mount Vernon.  When he’s away from the office, he enjoys boating with his wife, daughters, and friends.
